Music examinations are an excellent way to motivate students to practice and perfect their skills and gain official recognition for their musical abilities. Testing is available for a variety of instruments from piano, recorder, guitar, violin, vocal and more.
Students are encouraged to participate in examinations; however they are not required to do so. Our instructors have abundant experience preparing students for examinations and our students consistently achieve excellent results.
Examinations are conducted by the Royal Conservatory of Music, and Trinity College of London.
Kanata Music Academy is the Trinity College of Music Examination Centre for the Ottawa-Hull region.
