Kanata Music AcademyThe Ottawa Music Academy and Kanata Music Academy has been serving the surrounding community with musical knowledge and merchandise for over 10 years. We offer both private and group lessons in a variety of instruments, and currently boast a total of 600 students.

Our teachers are highly qualified and versatile. Students choosing to be trained classically are encouraged to take exams from the Royal Conservatory of Music or the Trinity College of London; however, students enjoying other styles of music, such as jazz or rock, can pursue studies in that area.

Students gain performance experience in our annual Spring and Winter recitals, as well as participating in the Kiwanis Music Festival. Our incentive programs keep students motivated and interested in their lessons.

In addition to lessons, the Academies each have a wide selection of music books, accessories, and instruments, with a 10% discount for students.

Help raise money for the CHEO Foundation by participating in our annual charity concert! Auditions for the Echoes of Winter will be held on Saturdays December 17th, from 11:30pm to 12:30pm at the Kanata Music Academy.
